Terms of use

CardVeda is an information tool. It helps you keep track of the credit cards you already hold and works out which of them is likely to pay best for a given kind of spend. Using it means accepting the terms below.

What CardVeda is

A record of the cards you tell it you hold, and arithmetic over the published benefits of those cards. Nothing more. It has no connection to your bank, cannot see your transactions, and cannot act on your accounts.

What CardVeda is not

  • Not financial, credit or investment advice. It does not know your income, your debts or your goals.
  • Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any bank, card network or card issuer. Bank and card names appear only to identify products.
  • Not a card issuer, lender, payment processor or credit intermediary.
  • Not a substitute for the terms your issuer gave you. Their document governs your card; this one does not.

The information will sometimes be wrong

This deserves to be stated plainly rather than buried. Card benefits in India change often, and frequently without notice. CardVeda’s catalog is assembled from issuers’ published terms and is checked on a schedule, not continuously. Every card records the date it was last verified.

So: figures here are estimates, and the reward values rest on stated assumptions about what points are worth. Treat a recommendation as a prompt to check, not as a promise. Confirm the current terms on your issuer’s own page before you rely on a benefit, and before you apply for anything.

CardVeda is provided as-is, without warranty. It is not liable for a reward you expected and did not receive, a benefit that changed, or a decision you made using it.

Your account and your data

Keep your sign-in secure; activity under your account is your responsibility. Enter only information you are entitled to enter. Never enter a card number, CVV or expiry date — CardVeda does not ask for them, refuses to store them, and has no use for them.

When you share your portfolio, you are choosing to show another person which cards you hold. Share only with people you intend to. You can revoke access at any time.

Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, bulk-export or resell the catalog.
  • Do not try to reach another user’s portfolio, or probe for accounts by email address.
  • Do not upload unlawful content, or anything you do not have the right to share.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the service or work around its security rules.

An account used this way can be suspended without notice.

Availability and changes

CardVeda runs on free infrastructure tiers and is offered without any uptime guarantee. Features may change or be withdrawn. If these terms change materially, the date above changes.

Contact

Questions, corrections to a card’s details, or a deletion request go to the contact page. Corrections are welcome — a wrong benefit in the catalog is a bug.
